It's the exhibition of the Diesel New Art Award, which I won. I'm quite excited about that since I've never been to New York before. There are also a lot of other things where I'm participating, for example OneDotZero and other events. More at the calendar section. In case if you're wondering about the huge break in updates, new work etc. I had some serious encounter with something called "Morbus Crohn" which basically knocked me out for some months. There were many great submission in (Personally, I liked "Hello" and "Reconstruction" the most) so I'm quite proud to be chosen as a winner. My animation Calcium City is featured at the Bitfilm Festival in Hamburg. Quite strange though, they shrinked my movie and put it in the category micromovies( movies for mobile devices), but it's quite funny that although my films are focused on art, I'm now on a festival together with Hollywood-Blockbusters including the X-men, Sin City and a feature film version of DOOM!? I will present my work in two new upcoming shows. The first is the Kaiserstrasse sidewalk cinema festival, an open air movie screening in vienna, were people can bring their own seat to the screenings. The date for this is 1.-9. September. The other is from whiteclub , an offspace team located in Salzburg . The exhibition there is starting on the 8th of September. March. 06Flexart

I'm really working hard on my new films so I didn't had time to work on the site and eventually finish it, but I,m really happy to announce that i'm participating at the diagoanle in graz. My new films are about to finish,and I think they will be really a big step forward . One film is about exploitation in modern working envirovnemts and one films is entirely made out of flesh. (updated:not the flash software as someone wrote me but human flesh,skins,etc..) the first one should be showed at the crossing europe film festival in linz, if everything works out right. |
